Valheim n'a pas de menu de mods : les mods sont des plugins BepInEx placés dans le dossier du jeu, installés avec un gestionnaire comme r2modman ou Vortex, et un mod qui modifie le monde partagé doit tourner sur le serveur et dans le jeu de chaque joueur.
Un mod qui signale le jeu comme modifié fait afficher cet avis sur l'écran d'accueil, et aucun succès ne se débloque tant qu'il est chargé :

Veuillez noter que cela peut modifier l'expérience de jeu originale. Si vous rencontrez un problème, veuillez d'abord désinstaller tous les mods avant de le signaler. Si un patch a été appliqué récemment, certains mods qui fonctionnaient auparavant peuvent être désactivés jusqu'à leur mise à jour.
