Valheim-modit Thunderstoresta, Nexus Modsista ja Hexiumista, sivu 72

Valheimissa ei ole modivalikkoa: modit ovat BepInEx-liitännäisiä pelikansiossa, ja ne asennetaan modienhallinnalla kuten r2modman tai Vortex. Jaettua maailmaa muuttavan modin on oltava käytössä palvelimella ja jokaisen pelaajan pelissä.

Modi, joka merkitsee pelin modatuksi, saa aloitusnäytön näyttämään tämän ilmoituksen, eikä saavutuksia avaudu sen ollessa ladattuna:
