Privacy Policy

thevalheim.wiki has no accounts and never asks for personal information.

Your world seed, the world and character files you open, your map pins, explored ground and settings stay in this browser. Files are read in the browser and never sent to the site. Clearing this site's browser data removes them.

The live map talks to the Realtime Map from seed mod on your own computer; that game data never reaches the site. A map share code is text you copy and paste yourself, and the site does not keep it.

Google Analytics loads on every page and receives the page address and a browser identifier to measure traffic.

When you use this site's app in ChatGPT or another assistant, the assistant sends this site the tool it calls and that tool's inputs, such as a search phrase, a section, a language and a result position. The site uses them only to answer that request and does not store them.

Every request, an assistant app's included, is recorded in the web server's access log: the sending address, the time, the requested path, the response status and size, the referring page and the client name. Access logs are deleted after 15 days.

Reports, corrections, suggestions and questions go to player.vote at https://vote.thevalheim.wiki; this site keeps none of them.
