Valheim'ın bir mod menüsü yoktur: modlar oyun klasöründeki BepInEx eklentileridir, r2modman veya Vortex gibi bir mod yöneticisiyle kurulur ve ortak dünyayı değiştiren bir mod sunucuda ve her oyuncunun oyununda çalışmalıdır.

Oyunu modlu olarak işaretleyen bir mod, başlangıç ekranında bu bildirimi gösterir ve o yüklüyken hiçbir başarım açılmaz:
