Valheim mods from Thunderstore, Nexus Mods and Hexium, page 127

Valheim has no mod menu: mods are BepInEx plugins in the game folder, installed with a mod manager such as r2modman or Vortex, and a mod that changes the shared world has to run on the server and on every player's game.

A mod that marks the game as modded makes the start screen show this notice, and no achievements unlock while it is loaded:

Please note that this may change the original game experience. If you are experiencing any issues, please first uninstall all mods before reporting it. If there has been a patch recently, some mods that previously worked may be broken until they are updated.
